Bright Lights, Big City….
Well, we did it! We actually pulled off the biggest surprise to date with you and took you to NYC to see Wicked! From the moment you saw the city 3 years ago, you could not wait to go back to New York. You never let us forget that we said we would bring you back when you were 16. I have no idea how three years went by so fast! You have grown into an amazing, hard working, dedicated, compassionate, and fun young lady. Once again while suffering from sleep deprivation you convinced Grandma and I that you should get to come back for your 21st birthday so that you can see Saturday Night Live. I am excited to see what the next five years have in store for you. There will be big changes, and even bigger decisions. As we move into the college search mode I want you to remember that there are always bright lights and big cities to see, but you will always have a nice comfy bed waiting for you at home.

Anne – I always love seeing your grown up daughter and the wonderful parts of her life that you capture and share each month. I can’t wait to do a trip like this with my girls. Ok – I can wait because that will mean they are all grown up – sigh!
