Georgetown Engagement Session
Ali contacted me through my Knot listing last month regarding booking a Georgetown Engagement session. I learned that Ali and Zach were planning to have their wedding in Connecticut next summer. Eventually Ali and I scheduled a phone consultation to discuss not only the engagement session, but also the possibility of me traveling to photograph the wedding. As soon as I started speaking with Ali, I knew that I wanted to be a part of her wedding to Zach! She was so excited and energetic and I instantly felt like I was talking to a friend. I consider it a privilege that Ali and Zach decided to book be for both their engagement session as well as their wedding!
Last week we met up at their apartment to take a few photos with their pugs Thor and Rosie before heading off to Georgetown for the rest of their session. Thor and Rosie were perfect dog models and within a few minutes they puppies were back in the air conditioning and we were in an uber with the Georgetown Canal as our destination. Just like on the phone call with Ali, my time with Zach and Ali felt like I was just sending the evening with friends as we walked around Georgetown and then headed toward the White House and the National Mall for the rest of the session. At certain times Ali and Zach had me laughing to the point that I could not even attempt to take a photo! The last two images on this post are absolute proof that these two know how to have a sense of humor and enjoy life! I am absolutely certain that their wedding is going to be amazing!
