Bragg Mitchell Mansion Wedding – Natalie and Clint
Natalie reached out to me last fall regarding her Bragg Mitchell Mansion wedding and I quickly knew that I was going to love working with her and Clint. I asked Natalie if she could share their story for the blog. So, here are Natalie’s words about how she and Clint came to be as well as a few details about their wedding.
“We met at church on Easter Sunday (The Island Church, Orange Beach) when Clint came in the kids area to take photos and video. But they didn’t really talk to each other until Natalie’s house had a pipe break and flooded in Nov. 2022. He kept asking her about how the renovation was going so she thought he was a contractor. Turns out, he just wanted a reason to talk to her.
Clint knew a year before he started talking to Natalie, that she was the one for him. It took Natalie a little longer. She knew about three months into dating that he was the one when he made sure to clean up a mess in the nursery because that was an area Natalie was over.
Natalie made Clint wait to propose until after her biggest event of the year which was July 31 – Aug. 3. He proposed Aug. 4 at Bellingrath Gardens and completely surprised Natalie who didn’t even know he had a ring yet.
They chose the date March 1 because that is the anniversary of the day Clint asked her to be his girlfriend. What a better time to make her his forever girlfriend!
Natalie is wearing her maternal grandmother’s wedding shoes when she walks down the aisle. She has been wanting to do this since she was 17 years old. Her dress color was chosen mainly because it would match the shoes.”
