A Joyful Spring Wedding at Sacred Heart Chapel and Little Point Clear | Julia & Parker
There are some wedding days that just stay with you — not only for the beauty and details, but for the emotion, energy, and love that fills every moment. Julia and Parker’s Fairhope wedding was exactly that. With a stunning waterfront ceremony at Sacred Heart Chapel and a colorful, joy-filled reception at Little Point Clear, their day was heartfelt, elegant, and full of personal touches.
Getting Ready at Little Point Clear in the Polo Bunk Room
The celebration began at Little Point Clear, one of my favorite venues along the Alabama Gulf Coast. Julia and her bridesmaids got ready in the venue’s Polo Bunk Room, a thoughtfully designed space with soft natural light and relaxed charm. The room buzzed with energy — laughter, final details, and so much anticipation.
One of the most meaningful parts of the morning was watching Julia and her mother share a private moment as she stepped into her gown. Julia had always dreamed of shopping at Bridals by Lori — the iconic Atlanta boutique featured on Say Yes to the Dress. Saying “yes” to her dress there was something she’d envisioned for years, and that dream came true. As her mother helped her into the gown she’d always hoped for, there was a beautiful exchange of emotion between them — joyful tears, laughter, and pride. It was such a powerful reminder of how many personal milestones a wedding day truly holds.
A Waterfront Ceremony Near Little Point Clear
Just a short drive away, Sacred Heart Chapel sits peacefully along the bay in Fairhope. This whitewashed chapel with its sweeping waterfront views is one of the most timeless and beloved wedding venues on the Eastern Shore. It’s easy to see why couples are drawn to its serene beauty.
Before the ceremony, we captured one of the most emotional moments of the day: Parker stood out front by the venue’s vintage VW bus, eyes closed and overcome with emotion, as Julia stepped out onto the balcony just above him. Though they never saw one another, the moment was electric — full of anticipation, joy, and love.
The ceremony itself was heartfelt and reverent, made even more beautiful by the live music of Stephen Sylvester, whose elegant performance set the perfect tone as Julia walked down the aisle. Surrounded by friends, family, and the peaceful sounds of the bay just beyond the chapel, Julia and Parker exchanged vows in a setting as timeless as their love.
The Reception at Little Point Clear: Colorful and Joyful
Following the ceremony, everyone returned to Little Point Clear for an evening of joyful celebration. The courtyard was transformed into a spring garden party, thanks to Southern Veranda Florist , whose arrangements were bursting with seasonal color — bold pinks, warm corals, soft peaches, and fresh greenery. The palette was joyful and romantic, echoing the tone of the entire day.
Bringing the couple’s vision to life and ensuring everything flowed flawlessly was planner Alexandria Tonore with Give Me Butterflies weddings. From the smallest details to the overall pace of the day, she made sure the entire celebration felt effortless, joyful, and deeply personal — a true gift to everyone involved.
Guests were treated to a delicious meal by Custom Catering by Stephanie (@custom_catering_by_stephanie), and the party carried on with laughter, dancing, and surprises — including a special guest arranged by Julia’s mom: the Troy University mascot, in honor of the place where Julia and Parker first met. It was a perfect, high-energy moment that had everyone on their feet. As guests mingled and danced, artist Jennifer Lindsey (@idart.live) captured the celebration in real-time with a stunning live painting that the couple will cherish for years to come.
A Colorful Send-Off in Style
The evening wrapped with a playful, high-energy send-off as guests waved colorful party streamer shakers, showering the couple in celebration. Julia and Parker made their exit in a vintage blue 1951 Mercedes, the perfect grand finale to a day full of heart, happiness, and unforgettable moments.
