Lexi and Sean – USNA Wedding
Lexi and Sean’s USNA wedding was my final wedding for this year and I could not have asked for a better way to end such a fantastic year! I say it all the time. However, I am truly honored to be a part of so many wonderful couples weddings as they begin their new lives together.
I first met Lexi this summer and I quickly came to realize how much she loved Sean and how excited she was to not only be getting married, but that she would be having her wedding at the Naval Academy. I too shared Lexi’s excitement. Not only is the Naval Academy Chapel absolutely stunning, but the grounds of the academy also provide of an amazing backdrop!
For Lexi, the day started at the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel where Up DO’s for I Do’s completed the bridal parties hair and makeup. Next, we headed up to Lexi’s room where she read a handwritten note from Sean, popped some bubbly and put on her AMAZING pink wedding dress!
Once Lexi and Sean were dressed and ready to go, we headed to the Naval Academy Chapel.
Lexi and I had discussed several indoor options for photos in the event that it was too cold, rainy or windy for us to be outside. However, we could not have had a better day!
Lexi and Sean were up for anything and trusted me completely when I suggested that they climb on the rocks along the sea wall. The results could not have been any better! Five minutes after these images were taken, a storm blew in and the winds were so extreme that their cocktail hour was moved inside. The Annapolis Waterfront hotel did a fantastic job incorporation the touches of pink and gold into the room decor.
Lexi and Sean kicked off the reception with their first dance and from that point on the party was underway!
Thank you to Lexi and Sean for trusting in me and allowing me the privilege of photographing your beautiful USNA wedding!
