Mia and Nico were married on July 9, 2022 at the Jewel Box in St. Louis. Mia chose to get read with her bridesmaids at her mothers house while Nico got ready at their home with his groomsmen. Mia and Nico stuck with tradition and chose not to see each other until Mia walked down the aisle of The Jewel Box. The morning of their wedding day was filled with rain showers. However, the skies dried up just in time for the ceremony and the rest of the day we were lucky to have below average temperatures and plenty of cloud cover.
The Jewel Box is a beautiful venue within Forest Park in St. Louis, Missouri. Once you step inside the massive greenhouse it feels as if you have been transported from St. Louis to a tropical destination. The Jewel Box is a photographers dream to shoot in as it has amazing natural light, and an outdoor type setting, beautiful tropical plants and air conditioning!
Mia and Nico’s ceremony was officiated by Mia’s uncle and the couple chose to write their own vows. Following the ceremony we took portraits around Forest Park as well as Tower Grove Park before heading to The Majorette for their reception.
