High School Senior Photography
High school senior photography is how I first got my start as a professional photographer. I instantly fell in love and much like a high school crush, I thought it was the only form of photography that would make me happy. As time went on and my business grew, it became clear that while high school photography would always be my first love, there were other areas of photography that calling my name and so I started working in the wedding industry. When my family moved to Annapolis, Maryland last year I focused 100% on weddings. Honestly, it was easier to rebuild my business with weddings since I have an ad in both Washington D.C. and Annapolis, MD. However, just like a first crush that you never forget, I did not stop thinking about my high school senior photography. Because of this, I could not have been happier when Emma’s mom contacted me about taking her photos on a recent trip back to St. Louis.
Emma did not disappoint. She is absolutely stunning and was wonderful to work with. Faust Park in Chesterfield, MO was the location she chose and it proved to be a great choice. There were a variety of landscapes and backdrops all within a few hundred yards of each other. Part way through the session I asked Emma if she had any favorite poses. Her response was that she liked photos of herself laughing. Thankfully her sister was there to provide funny faces behind me for the images at the end of this post.
