Woodlawn Plantation Wedding
Jenny and Patch were an absolute dream to work with for their Woodlawn Plantation Wedding! With Jenny and Patch living in New York and the wedding being planned in Alexandria, Virginia we were not able to meet in person until about a month prior to the wedding. We arranged to meet at Woodlawn to walk around the venue and discuss the plan for the wedding day. As soon as I met Jenny, Patch and Jenny’s parents it was clear to me that not was their wedding going to be beautiful, it was also going to be filled with personal touches!
On the day of the wedding, my thoughts and expectations were blown away! With every wedding there are going to be things that go wrong. However, the biggest unknown is how the couple and the wedding party are going to handle things. When Jenny arrived at Woodlawn Plantation in an Uber rather then the limousine she had scheduled, she was calm, smiling and excited to get married! I knew instantly that the days was going to be fantastic.
Some of my favorite moments from the day include – Jenny wearing her mothers veil, Patch and the groomsmen having fun during portrait time, the excitement on Jenny and Patch’s faces as they walked back down the aisle as husband and wife, the band, the dancing…..I could go on and on!
