Top 10 Senior Images – Senior Photographer

It is no secret that High School Seniors are one of my favorite things to photograph.  There is a feeling of excitement that emirates from them as they talk about their plans for the future.  Senior Photography is always changing and there are times that I wonder if I will be able to stay relative in this genre.  However, I have made the decision that I will continue to offer timeless photographs that still show the teen’s personality and style.  You will not see me place a senior  on the white numbers that represent their graduation year. You will also not see me pose them in a provocative manner.  I believe there is an innocence that should still shine through in a high school seniors photographs.  So, while it was not easy to narrow down my selection, here are my top 10 senior images from 2015.

There is no way that Teddy and his red corvette would not make the top 10!  Lets face it, senior boys have photos taken to make their moms happy.  However, Teddy could not help but smile as we focused the majority of his session around his corvette.

We were on pins and needles during Taylor’s session and ready to call it quits at a moments notice.  The excitement between Taylor and her mom as they waited to hear if Taylor’s newest niece would be born that day was at an all time high.  Luckily for us, the baby cooperated, and we were able to complete the session.

Sydney is a fierce competitor full of drive and determination.  Sydney is also a fantastic teammate who will put the needs of others and the team ahead of her own.

I am a little biased about this one…. Kayla is my own daughter and I have to admit that she had 4 sessions in 4 different cities.  However, I am a horrible mother and I have not printed any for our own home yet…..

What I love about this image of Sarah is her sweet smile and how she is a natural beauty! It is hard not to smile back when you see Sarah!

Kylie is one of those girls who I honestly believe has no idea how beautiful she truly is.  I loved working with Kylie and her mom.  Seeing the look of excitement on their faces as I showed them images on the back of my camera was priceless.

Bri has been in front of my camera several times and once again she was absolutely stunning!  I love how she took tips from her last session with me, and added accessories and high heels to her outfits.  I especially love that she found a cuff of her mom’s that was almost identical to one I loaned her on her last session.

Lauren braved the heat and humidity for her session this summer.  It is not easy to smile when you are dripping with sweat and just want to jump in a nice cool pool.  However, Lauren never complained and the images that resulted from this session I am certain will be treasured by her family for years to come.

Audrey is one of my seniors who brought along mom and dad.  I actually love when dad’s come along because they can get some of the best smiles out of their teens.  All they have to do is imitate the girls poses, tell a joke, or just smile in awe of how beautiful their daughters are.  The result is always a genuine smile back from their daughters.

Olivia is one of very few seniors who can actually pull off the serious face!  When Olivia’s mom contacted me, she told me there was a particular image on my website that she absolutely loved and wanted a similar look for some of Olivia’s photos.  We saved that location for the end of the session and the end result was spectacular.  I could not have asked for a more perfect day and sunset to compliment the beautiful girl in front of the camera.

Shannon was my only senior in 2015 who took the leap of faith and had a snow session.  I will be honest and tell you that I absolutely HATE the cold.  However, I LOVE how photos look in freshly fallen snow!

I wish all of these seniors the best of luck in their futures and I can not wait to see where life takes them!
