Musket Ridge Golf Club Wedding – Annapolis Photographer
Emily and Charles started planning their Musket Ridge Golf Club wedding last year. However, their love story starts long before the wedding planning ever started. These two are high school sweat hearts and their story is best told in Emily’s own words. “Charles and I met in our high school chorus class, my freshman his sophomore year. We knew each other for a year before Charles officially asked me out at the Howard County fair where we would have our first date. From that point on we spent vacations, holidays and events together taking our time truly getting to know each other and slowly falling in love. By our second year of dating we both knew we would get married one day just from the genuine connection we felt. There may not be anyone who understands me better than Charles.”
This was my first time shooting at the Musket Ridge Golf Club and I have to tell you that it simply took my breath away as I drove up to the course and then looked around taking in all the beauty of the landscape! While I love all of my waterfront and city weddings I have to admit that I LOVED the change of scenery.
There were so many emotions throughout the day that could be felt by everyone in attendance. There was joy and excitement as Emily and Charles began their new life together. However, there was not a dry eye in the room when Emily’s father surprised her with a video message from her brother who is currently deployed and therefore unable to attend the wedding. This had to have been one of the most heart warming moments I have ever witnessed at a wedding!
